The following value items have been developed from the FT until now:

  1. Developed feeding strategy for Indian Major Carps, Koi (Anabus testudineus) and Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) by maintaining compensatory growth regime
  2. Developed smoked products from tilapia, pungus, shrimp, grass carp, major carps and snakehead, and their common utilization
  3. Developed quality product from freshwater fishes and small indigenous species (SIS) by curing (salting and drying) methods
  4. Developed fish products from under-utilized fish species of Bangladesh
  5. Developed improved methods for handling, transportation and processing of high quality Hilsa (Tenualosa ilisha) fish
  6. Developed value-added fish products from under-utilized marine fishes and Thai Pangas (Pangasianodon hypophthalmus)
  7. Developed low-cost solar tunnel drier for improvement quality of traditional dried products
  8. Developed rapid and reliable GC-MS method for the identification of volatile flavor compounds of fish and fishery products.
